A unique opportunity to licence the design data base of a certified NFC / RFID Tag SoC. The IP is a highly integrated multi-function NFC / HF-RFID (PICC) for contact-less communication at 13.56MHz, designed with focus on lowest power consumption and smallest form factor. The IP is targeted towards Contact-less Back Cards that complies with ISO14443 Type A&B (NFC A/B) EMVCO and UnionPay-readers, and is compliant with the mainstream NFC reader applications supporting data rates at 106kbit/s, 212kbit/s, 484kbit/s, 848kbit/s. As well as Tag's used for Bluetooth pairing When the IP is in proximity to an HF-RFID reader the power supply is harvested from the reader transmitted field. The system has auto card-mode switch that enables the device to automatically detect the incoming request and then switch to the correct standard. To secure safe operation the device includes carrier recovery to stabilize the system clock and power supply monitor to safely power the system down when the field is removed. This function controls same power up and down of the system. In contact mode (ISO7816) the device is powered by VDDIO. The power management unit handles the transition between powered by the field and external power source. This IP provides the lowest risk / fastest time to market of any NFC IP on the market, it is a complete chip design rather than a small piece of a very complex jigsaw puzzle.
