The ARM® Artisan® 65nm GP DDR1/DDR2 IO transceiver is a flexible, reliable, low cost interface to industry standard SDRAM memories. Supporting up to 1066 Mbps transfer rates, this DDR I/O provides flexible voltage signaling levels, enabling interface to either DDR1 SDRAMS (2.5V) or DDR2 SDRAMS (1.8V). The Artisan DDR I/O is a JEDEC compliant high speed transceiver, delivering reliable signal quality through OCD calibration and On-Die-Termination (ODT). The Artisan DDR I/O reduces system costs with its ODT, by eliminating the need for external board resistors, and minimizes chip area with support for Circuit Under Pad (CUP). Extensive tool support and seamless integration with Artisan DLLs, PLLs and GPIOs allows the Artisan DDR I/O to ease SoC design and reduce time-to-market. The Artisan 65nm GP DDR1/DDR2 I/O is the optimum I/O interface for flexibility, reliability, and lower overall system cost.
