The Beyond BA12 32-bit Embedded Processor Core is in the same performance class as ARM9™ processors. It can be configured with L1 instruction/data caches and MMUs to run Linux or configured to work without L1 caches or MMUs for running real-time operating systems and firmware. The BA12 is fully compatible for OpenRISC OR1200, but offers significantly higher performance, smaller code size, and full commercial support and licensing.
