The AN101KSPS is a custom mixed-signal CMOS core, low-power, multi-channeled,
10-bit, low sample rate analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates off a 1.8V
supply. The analog inputs to the AN101KSPS are single-ended with a conversion range
between GND and a user defined reference voltage (REF). The converter includes a highbandwidth
linear sample-and-hold (S&H).
The AN101KSPS is designed for low-power applications demanding moderate speed,
moderate resolution, and efficient silicon utilization. The AN101KSPS's power
consumption is less than 1 mW when active and less than 10uW when in sleep mode.
This makes the data converter a great fit for most battery applications.
Proprietary 'conversion complete' circuitry ensures that a conversion finishes completely
once a conversion has been initiated, thus relaxing constraints on initiating a conversion.
The device is specified over the industrial temperature range (-40°C to 85°C).
